What I’ve Been Reading

By Jess Friedman

Last year, I started a reading challenge hosted by my local library and I was determined to read 50 books before the end of the year. And then I met Brett and worked at summer camp and my reading plans kind of fell apart—as did my habit of reviewing books I enjoyed on the blog. I’ve been meaning to get all caught up, and I finally have! But rather than drown you in a bajillion book reviews all at once, I thought I’d just give you a quick roundup. If you want the reviews, just click on the book cover.

These are the last of the books I read last year. Read more book reviews here.

And here’s everything I’ve read so far this year. Thanks to a string of bad luck with bad books, I’m a bit behind schedule for my 36 book goal, but I can still catch up. 😉

Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver

Eventide by Tracy Hickman

What have you read lately? Any recommendations?

* In an effort to only recommend books that I enjoyed, I don’t write reviews of books I would give fewer than 3 stars. This one didn’t make the cut.
