Last year, I started a reading challenge hosted by my local library and I was determined to read 50 books before the end of the year. And then I met Brett and worked at summer camp and my reading plans kind of fell apart—as did my habit of reviewing books I enjoyed on the blog. I’ve been meaning to get all caught up, and I finally have! But rather than drown you in a bajillion book reviews all at once, I thought I’d just give you a quick roundup. If you want the reviews, just click on the book cover.

These are the last of the books I read last year. Read more book reviews here.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie StiefvaterFurthermore by Tahereh MafiJesus the Christ by James E. TalmageAlong for the Ride by Sarah DessenAnd I Darken by Kiersten WhiteThe Copper Gauntlet by Holly Black and Cassandra ClareThe Bronze Key by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare

And here’s everything I’ve read so far this year. Thanks to a string of bad luck with bad books, I’m a bit behind schedule for my 36 book goal, but I can still catch up. 😉

What have you read lately? Any recommendations?

* In an effort to only recommend books that I enjoyed, I don’t write reviews of books I would give fewer than 3 stars. This one didn’t make the cut.
