Who doesn’t love to get a real letter in the mail—especially when it’s in a ridiculously cute card? I was recently introduced to the wonderfully whimsical art of Jaicee Nichols-Howell, a multimedia artist specializing in hand cut paper art. Her unique style charmed my socks off, and I can’t wait to send these cards to some dear friends.

I mean, seriously, how cute is this little fox character? Don’t you just want to go frolic with her? I love the bright, vibrant colors and the use of different media to create lovely textures.

In addition to scenes made entirely out of paper, she also has a collection of cute compositions with paper animals exploring real world settings. I couldn’t get over how charming this happy little bee is with her clover flowers.

These cards are printed on thick, smooth cardstock that’s a dream to write on. Go ahead a write with your favorite pens or colorful markers, since the matte surface means you don’t have to worry about smudging.

Jaicee’s art can also be found on art prints, which would be especially delightful in a child’s bedroom or nursery. You can check out her art at www.snippingturtle.com and follow her on Facebook and Instagram.
Happy penpaling!
