So often, we are tempted to fill up the empty and lonely places in our hearts with “quick fix” solutions, busy schedules, addictions, physical and mental clutter, and other things of little or no value. Those things might make us feel better for a little while, but that relief is superficial. True joy comes from clearing away the distractions and embracing the simple pleasures in life.
