I have been kind of worried about my stats class. My professor is a very nice man with a very strong accent, and sometimes, I struggle to understand what’s going on. It’s also STATS. You know, just the subject that nearly destroyed my undergraduate career. So I was a little nervous about the getting the results back on my first assignment, but when I did…
We had another assignment due that same day, and a third due next week. I was not confident at all when I turned in assignment #2 because I hadn’t yet gotten assignment #1 back, but now?
(Now watch me fail miserably… Ha! I just have to celebrate while I can, you know?)
Trixy and Pojo decided my to do list wasn’t full enough, so they added something.
I finally managed to get out to the place where I’ll be getting my regular horse fixes from here on out–Stepney Bank Stables, a horse facility smack dab in the middle of the city. I’ll be volunteering as a lead walker during riding lessons with little kids! I can hardly wait. (I would have taken some pictures of the horses while I was there, but I was so busy playing that I didn’t have a chance to pull out my camera. This is the best I’ve got for now, but there are sure to be more pictures of Stepney Bank horses than you’ll ever want to see…)
Chinatown must see some especially rough hooligans if even the stone lions have to protect themselves. (Don’t worry–Chinatown is actually a very nice place.)
We had stake conference in Sunderland today, so while I was there, I took a little walk out to see Roker Lighthouse on the shores of the North Sea. It was cold and windy, but the beach was totally worth braving the weather. Lots more pictures of this trip will be forthcoming.
I promise that’s not what it might look like. It’s really soil samples being tested for potassium levels…
I’m still trying to figure out many of the traffic signs around here. Some of them, like this one, are especially amusing to my uneducated brain.
I have a TONNE of pictures from recent trips to post. I know I keep making promises to do so, but you know how life gets–especially when you’re in school. I will try to get them posted this week, though. The next few weekends are jam packed with awesome adventures, so I need to get caught up before I get overwhelmed. Haha!
Also, I’m still not happy with the way my pictures are looking on the blog, so please forgive me. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m doing some research… Hopefully I will find a fix soon because EWW.
